Aims & Objectives

To prepare a Village Design statement and promote and enhance the website for Nutbourne (www.nutbourne.org.uk)

To record historical data related to the hamlet of Nutbourne and to produce a book available both in paper form
and electronically via the website.

To promote the preservation of existing wildlife habitats, footpaths, rights of way and local features in
co-operation with landowners and the BTCV (British Trust for Conservation Volunteers).

To provide advice and where possible assistance on tree planting and hedgerow schemes as necessary.

To provide information concerning the repair and maintenance of pre-1900 properties in accordance with the advice
and publications issued by the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings.

To put forward an opinion about local planning so that it follows the policies of the Conservation Area laid down
by County Hall.
