This grade II listed stone miller's house is a fine example of a period house in good order with its original stone garden walls and a superb garden sloping to the stream that feeds and comes from the Mill Pond. Above the front door evidence of the window tax of 1695 is seen by the blocked window. To the north is the small bakery famed for its local bread until the mid 1900s when Mr Terry baked there. He also drowned in the millpond under mysterious circumstances!
