
1983
This Church of England School was built in 1858 and replaced a smaller building lower in the village. Its fine stone construction with lancet windows and bell cote gable tower are good example of Victorian style. It closed around 1953 but carried on a a useful social building intil it was converted into a house in the late 1900s
