The Store House was one of the principal houses of Nutbourne in 1841 and has origins way back . It is mostly a stone building with lots of ironstone in its contruction. with deep cellars beneath. In the mid to late 1900 the front having been a shop, and a garage was faced with hanging tiles that interlocked to give the appearance of brick but this was rather haphazard and was painted creating a hotchpotch of a wall. The current owner brought it all together by removing the paint and tiles using local ironstone to patch the original where it was deficient.
