Recent Issues

Pumping Station, Nutbourne Common

Much controversy occurred with the proposed eventual use of this site following an initial refusal for residential use. Industrial units and a gypsy site were proposed and this created much opposition owing to the unsuitability of the site for either. Strenuous opposition by District Councillors and Pulborough Parish Council supported by local residents' letters lead to a re-application for residential use being approved.
